An article presenting the ColloCaid project is now available for online first view in Language Teaching. It is based on a plenary address given at TechLing 2017 by ColloCaid Principal Investigator Dr Ana Frankenberg-Garcia. In her talk, Dr Frankenberg-Garcia highlights a generalised underuse of dictionaries which is often attributed to a lack of training in dictionary-consultation skills. She posits the ColloCaid tool as an alternative solution to this problem; a means of bringing dictionaries to writers instead of waiting for them to get the information they need from dictionaries.
